For Utah’s rising singer/songwriter, Ellee Duke, music is her first love.  Ellee is a real and genuine singer and musician.  She writes and sings songs to touch people’s hearts.  Her music reflects real life experiences for all ages.

At the sweet age of 5, Ellee began piano lessons, and at age 9 she did some vocal training.  By age 11, she expressed great interest in learning to play the guitar.  She received her first guitar at age 12.  Her journey with her own music began at age 13 when she started writing and singing her own original songs.  Ellee won Draper Jr. Idol in July 2010 (age 14) performing her own music.  A judge at the Draper Jr. Idol competition expressed, “I would buy your music right now!”  She sang the National Anthem at the Draper Rodeo and performed on the “big” stage at Draper Days in July 2010.  She has opened for  Peter Brienholt at the Sandy Amphitheater, Charley Jenkins, and Paul Cardall.  Ellee has also performed at weddings and business events.  She has been recognized and given Awards of Excellence in her local school level and city level competitions for her song, “M.I.S.S.I.N.G.”  She was a contestant in the BYU television show, Starbiz in 2011.

Ellee has written over 50 original songs.

Ellee is a guitar instructor at Rock University in Draper.

Currently, Ellee is working on her first album which will be released in 2012.
