Reckless Spirit

Reckless Spirit is a rock and blues influenced band consisting of local veterans of the Salt Lake City music scene that have been performing in different local bands for more than twenty years. The band plays a combination of original music, rock, blues and obscure (deeper album) covers from artists such as Robin Trower, Warren Haynes Band/ Gov’t Mule, Band of Gypsys, The Black Crowes, Aerosmith & ZZ Top, just to name a few. However, Reckless Spirit is definitely not your run of the mill, classic rock type cover band.
Some key elements to their sound are top notch musicianship, as well as the great voices of Brock Peterson and Tom Adolphson. If you enjoy well done vocal harmonies, you will get a kick out of this band.
Their sound is different and will blow you away! You won’t be disappointed.
The band’s players are:
Brock Peterson – guitar and lead vocals (formerly with Kettlefish and Killer Tomatoes).
Ron Weales – bass guitar and vocals (formerly with Have Mercy and Reaction).
Tom Adophson – Drums and lead vocals (formerly with Have Mercy and Reaction).
Wes Chambers – keyboards (currently plays with Kettlefish and founded the Killer Tomatoes, who played locally in Utah for more than fifteen years.)
Reckless Spirit has a very solid and unique original sound.
